
Ireland has the third highest suicide rate amongst young men of all OECD countries. A new report from the group of 30 developed nations also shows that child poverty here is the sixth highest of all countries surveyed.
Ireland has the lowest breast feeding rate of all OECD countries and above average rates of child mortality. The survey also finds however that we have below average rates of bullying, some of the lowest rates of overcrowding and the fifth best environmental conditions for children to live in.
